Our unique nonprofit has an effective summer and after school program serving the inner city kids of Indianapolis. We focus on education and we teach directly from the Indiana State Academic Standards resources grades K-12, with assessment given periodically.

Our after school program offers community service projects, meals, computers labs, DSL high speed internet, literacy/reading, college career preparation, academic enrichment, math/language art, tutoring/mentorship, art, drama/step teams, sports and recreation.

Unfortunately, thousand of children in this city have no safe, supervised place to go when the school day ends. Our organization helps keep unsupervised latch key children out of trouble.

The segment of population we serve are high risk disadvantage low-income families with risk factors such as; anti-social behavior and alienation, general delinquency involvement, drug dealing, low intelligence quotient, hyperactivity, conduct disorder, low academic achievement, and negative attitude towards school.

Our after school program benefits youth academically as well as providing a safe place and adult supervision during non-school hours. Our after school program can offer young people opportunities to explore their interest, develop social skills, do homework, strengthen academic abilities, and participate in building positive character traits and a sense of civic responsibility. It also gives parents free time to pursue school, career options or take on a second job.
